Pangolins were released into the wild at Cuc Phuong National Park.CPNP.

On January 2, in collaboration with the Vietnam Wildlife Conservation Center, 12 Javan pangolins were successfully released into the wild.

These are pangolin individuals rescued by two units from illegal transportation, hunting, and trading in October-November 2024.

After being rescued and brought to the Vietnam Wildlife Conservation Center, the individuals are carefully monitored for their health status to determine their recovery speed, from which careful training stages can be carried out. survival in the wild is best prepared to be able to plan for food and self-defense. themselves in nature.

After more than 2 months of recovery, all individuals were assessed as eligible for release and ready to return to their natural homes.

To have the best environment for pangolin individuals, the conservation research team of the Vietnam Nature Conservation Center conducted 3 biodiversity surveys to find places to release them.
